Condolences
Peg and I will always remember Lil as a great teacher, both in Art and life. She was a great adornment to Alberta and will be missed. Sympathies to all the family and God Bless.
To Margaret Anne, Marjorie and Mary-Louise: My sincere sympathy for the loss of your dear Aunty Lil. I am ever so pleased I met you again last year at her bedside, despite the fact her birthday party had been cancelled. She was ever a loving person and lived her life well. I have many happy memories from my childhood. Her birthdate was December 17 and my dad, Tony Botter’s was December 22 in the same year. They started school together and were always great friends. A lot of connections with the Hesmers for sure. Please let me know when the memorial service will be held in Medicine Hat, as I did not receive message of her passing until after her Calgary funeral. I would have been there! Prayers and love, Bev Botter

Will forever remember Mrs. Cooney.
Just today I was making tomatoe soup; nothing like the great tasting soup
I made in her class many years ago no matter how I tried to duplicate.
God Bless you Mrs. Cooney and all those you leave to mourn.
Lil always put a smile on our face’s and will continue to do so whenever we think about her. Our sympathies for your loss.”
