Obituary of Christina Chris CLARKE

CLARKE, Christina “Chris” May 29, 1946 – Edmonton, Alberta March 25, 2016 – Calgary, Alberta Christina Clarke, beloved wife of Greg of Calgary, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016 at the age of 69 years. Chris was actively involved in the Lions Club, St. John’s Ambulance, Bingo, and Beavers, and she was proud of her achievements while volunteering for these many organizations. The three words that describe Chris are friends, volunteerism, and determination. Chris is survived by her loving husband Greg, daughter Joanne Turner (Pat Davis) of Veteran AB, and son Bryan Clarke (Michel Bourque) of Calgary; grandchildren Lindsey Leikeim (Chad), Kevin Turner, Tommy Turner, Archie Davis, Laura Davis; and great-grandchildren Patricia and Jack Leikeim. She is also survived by her sister Joan Toso of Calgary. Chris was predeceased by her parents Bertram and Elizabeth Clendon, son Patrick, and brother Thomas Clendon. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Foothills Medical Centre, specifically Units 27 and 37 for the excellent care and compassion they provided. Funeral Services will be held at LAKEVIEW UNITED CHURCH (3023 – 63rd Avenue S.W.) on Friday, April 8th, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through .
