Obituary of Horace James Douglas BLAKE

January 1, 1918 – Prince Albert, SK March 23, 2016 – Calgary, AB Douglas Blake, 98, passed away on March 23rd, 2016, at the Colonel Belcher long term care centre in Calgary. He leaves behind his four daughters, Dorothea (Ben) Meulenbeld; Beverly Blake; Cydnee (Bryan) Rutley; Denise (Richard) Cameron, ten grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Doug was predeceased by his loving wife “Beth” and his youngest daughter Deborah. Doug was born and raised in Prince Albert, SK and served in the Air Force in the Second World War in operations at Pat Bay, on Vancouver Island. The family would like to give special thanks to the nurses and staff at the Colonel Belcher.
