Obituary of Iain Ferguson McLEOD

April 16, 1928 – Glasgow, Scotland February 2, 2016 – Calgary, Alberta Iain McLeod beloved husband of Iris of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at the age of 87 years. Iain was raised and schooled in Glasgow, Scotland and joined the Royal Bank of Scotland. He then immigrated to Canada in 1953, where he joined the Royal Bank of Canada. Dad had a sparkle, wit and humour that will be dearly missed. In his younger days, he had a keen interest in photography, a great love of music of every kind, and in latter years, spent many happy hours at the family cabin in Trout Lake, BC. Iain is survived by his wife of sixty years Iris; his son Andrew (Lynn); daughter Margaret; sister Catherine Espie; grandchildren, Benjamin (Carole), Conner (Kayla) and Rhiannon; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Iain was predeceased by his father Andrew; mother Jessie; and sister Shelagh; and loving aunties Chrissie and Anne; and his uncle Alec. Funeral Services will be held at Deer Park United Church (77 Deer Point Road S.E., Calgary) on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through .
