Dear Linda, Doris & Family,
So sorry to hear about terry’s passing. While one day older than myself, she was always better looking. We tried to trade birthday cards every year.
She and Skixxy were a great couple and then again with Jack.
A nice, special friend and lady.
Condolences.
Dear Linda and Doris,
We have warm memories from the 1960’s of you and your mom and dad during our time with you on Oakland Road in Halifax. Many years have passed since that time but thoughts of your mother’s kindness and her devotion to you girls and your dad remain with us. Our sincere condolences.
To Linda and Doris and the Family of Terry, or “Theresa Hughie Dan”. as she was known to those from New Waterford.
Reading this obit brings back so many memories wonderful lady who I knew since I was a girl. Your mom was one of the nicest persons I have ever known, a real lady. We both had grand lives in Halifax, raising families and having teaching careers. Terry, you will be missed. You and your sisters, were great friends of mine.
Fondly, Theresa Laffin
Dear Linda and Doris and family,
I was saddened to hear of Terry’s passing. I had a long talk with Jean Dexter and we reminisced about all our happy times together, square dancing with your mother and father, bridge club, our cruise, family get togethers at Evangeline Beach.
She was a wonderful woman and a great friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families

Hi Doris,
My Sincere condolences and a big loving hug to you. I see from the article that your mom was an exceptional lady. But the real proof to one who didn’t know her is in you, an exceptional lady yourself, who will carry her with you always.
Peace and love to you,
Martha
Linda, Doris, and all the family,
My love and sympathy to all of you. Your mother was an amazing woman! Her love of life, devotion to family, and strength of character are things I will always remember- and try to emulate.
I have missed her since she left Halifax, so I can only begin to imagine how much all of you will miss her.
How lucky you are to have had such a wonderful mother and grandmother.
Much love, Vicky
Linda,
Peter and I send our condolences to you and your children on the passing of your Mother. We have great memories of her when she spent holidays in Calgary and when she entertained us on a trip to Halifax many years ago. She was lovely. We are thinking of you.

Dear Linda and Doris,
I was very sorry to learn of your mother’s death but I hope it was a release for her and for you. She was such a warm and joyful woman when I knew her…relaxed, happy, affectionate and she had the most wonderful smile. You wrote an obit which was a perfect reflection of how I remember her – our family was enriched considerably by having her in it. Although I have not seen you in the last many years, I have tried to glean bits and wish you both well. I’m glad Terry’s resting place will be in Nova Scotia as she loved it there. Her loss will stir so much for both of you and you have my total sympathy. Very fondly, Jans (MacKimmie) Charlton
Dear Doris & Vytas,
Warm thoughts and prayers your way. It sounds like your mother was an amazing woman who lived an amazing life. Hold on to those memories for comfort, and know that your many friends are there for you if you need.
I have known Terry for most of my life. I will never forgot her many kindnessesto me throughout the years. Terry was a remarkable person who lived a remarkable life. Her parting leaves a huge void; the way she lived her life leaves us with an example we can only hope to follow. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Linda, Doris, Vitas, Stewart, Erin, Lauren, and Terry’s many friends.
