Obituary of Robert John Pringle

February 08, 1947- Winnipeg, Manitoba January 18,2016 – Calgary, Alberta It is with a sad heart that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Pringle beloved husband of Shirley Pringle. Bob passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre with his wife Shirley and children by his side. Bob was born in Winnipeg Manitoba on February 08, 1947. Graduated from St. James High School and then went on to Graduate from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Then Bob was always on the move. He left Winnipeg and headed west to Calgary, where he met is lovely wife Shirley. Now, with his companion they embarked on a journey which would take them on many moves. The first stop was Vancouver where they were married on October 13, 1973. Then, the move bug hit again and they were on their way back to Winnipeg, now in tow with their son Taylor and where their son Ben was born. Again the move bug hit now in tow with two children they moved to White Rock, BC and then back to Alberta (Edmonton) where their son Cody , daughters Kady and Mandy came along. His move to Edmonton Alberta would be where he made his mark and lasting impression in the career in Auto Sales. He went on to be one of the Best Car Salesmen and General Sales Manager Alberta has seen. He went on to teach his craft. After many years of working for someone else and his love for BC he moved his family to Kelowna. There he successfully owned a Used Car Dealership. Once again the move bug hit and once again it was Alberta bound where he finally planted his roots and retired. Bob was a family man who enjoyed spending time with his children and many grandchildren. He and Shirley loved to travel, explore the Art World, hunt for Antiques which Bob loved to restore and sell and their biggest love had to be hitting Flea Markets and hunting for bargains. Bob was a jokester and a prankster. He had a warmth about him that made everyone he met feel at ease. Bob will be greatly missed by his wife Shirley of 42 years; his children, daughter in-laws, son in-laws and grandchildren; Taylor, (Sandy) Haley & Sarah, Ben (Sarah) Silas, Mason & Jaxx, Kady (Mike) Owen & Triton, Mandy; Shelby, Rhett and Hunter, Cody (Charlene) Savannah . He is also survived by his Sisters, Geraldine and Lindy and his brother Andrew, and many nieces and nephews. Bob is now with his recently deceased grandchild “Mason” he will forever be in our hearts. A Celebration of Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive S.W.
