Obituary of Michael Francis LOCKIE

July 18, 1962 – Calgary, Alberta January 19, 2016 – Calgary, Alberta Mike Lockie, beloved son of Dolores Lockie of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at the age of 53 years. Mike enjoyed the company of his nieces and nephew, family gatherings, walks in Confederation Park, culinary pursuits and spending time with his friends. Mike is survived by his loving mother Dolores; brother Ian (Diane) Lockie; two sisters, Denise (Joseph) Quinn and Devon Lockie (Tom Hochman); four nieces and a nephew, Celine Lockie, Nicole Lockie, Glenn Lockie, Ruby Hochman and Una Hochman; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Douglas in 2000. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Canadian Martyrs Catholic Church (835 Northmount Drive N.W.) on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. A Private Family Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
