Obituary of Santosh Kumar MAJUMDAR

August 20, 1935 – New Delhi, India September 11, 2019 – Calgary, Alberta Santosh beloved husband of Mitali Majumdar (nee Mitra) of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the age of 84 years. Santosh was born in New Delhi, India on August 20, 1935 to Hariranjan and Manorama Majumdar. He received his Masters degree in Geophysics from the Banaras Hindu University and thrived in his career for over fifty years in various countries throughout his life. Besides his loving wife Mitali, Santosh is also survived by his children, Supria (Sal Chiodo), Subir and Sumita (Nathan Fons); grandchildren, Lukas, Nico, Marco, Jasmine, Ciana. He came from a large family of six brothers and six sisters and today he is survived by his younger brother Amitabha Majumdar. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
