Obituary of Ivan Michael SIKICH

September 26, 1946 – Zagreb,Yugoslavia (Croatia) December 23, 2015 – Calgary, Alberta It is with great sadness to announce that Ivan Sikich of Calgary, AB, passed away on December 23, 2015 at the age of 69 years. Ivan immigrated to Canada from Yugoslavia (Croatia) in 1960. He spent many years in Victoria, BC where he served with the Victoria Police Department. He later relocated to Calgary, AB where he met his soulmate, Janis Jones, and worked with Canada Post until his retirement in 2007. Ivan is survived by family and close friends in both Calgary, AB and Victoria, BC. Ivan was predeceased by his partner in life Janis Jones (2013), his mother Marie Sikich (nee Brodaric, 2012) and his father Douglas Sikich (2006). With respect for Ivan’s wishes no funeral services were held. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
