Obituary of Irene Theresia SENGL

December 18, 1930 – Ingolstadt, Germany December 26, 2015 – Calgary, Alberta Irene, beloved wife of Johann von Gott Sengl of Calgary, AB, passed away on December 26, 2015, at the age of 85. Predeceased by her husband of 33 years, Grama dedicated her life to her five children, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Her greatest legacy will be the love and devotion she gave to her family. Being with her family was what she loved most of all. Grama, as we all called her, always had an open heart and house for anyone to visit. Her favourite day of the week was Sunday, because she could host her family for dinner. The most important thing for her was to show her family how much she loved them. We are blessed to have been loved by such a caring, compassionate and amazing woman. She will be in our hearts forever. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Catholic Church (Corner of 4th Street and Northmount Drive N.W.) on Monday, January 4th, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
