Obituary of Ellen Velma Elaine RYDER

May 16, 1946 – Lac La Biche , Alberta December 17, 2015 – Calgary, Alberta It is with great sorrow to announce that after many years of struggling with multiple health issues that Ellen V.E. Ryder passed away comfortably at home in her sleep with her beloved cat Misty by her side. We wish for her to be remembered for her love of photography, nature and her knack of gardening. As well as the time she enjoyed with her daughters, grandchildren and the numerous friends over the years. Ellen is survived by her loving daughters, Marie and Steve Holloway and Tammy Wiebe; her precious grandchildren, Amanda Liesemer, Coral-Ann Liesemer, Katie Wiebe and Cole Wiebe; her sisters; Carole and Shirley and her brothers, Paul and Norman. After her cremation her family would like all to be respectful of the fact we wish to hold a private family celebration for her. We would be honored if her friends gather together and celebrated her life in a place she enjoyed going to. We as a family are doing this to follow her wishes. Condolences may be forwarded through .
