Obituary of Cynthia Ursula BEAVER-BEARSPAW

October 1, 1967 – Calgary Alberta December 3, 2015 – Calgary, Alberta It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and auntie, Cynthia Beaver-Bearspaw on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at the age of 48 years. Cynthia attended Morley Community and Exshaw Schools. She lived life to the fullest and always had a warm smile for everyone. Cynthia enjoyed spending time with family especially her grandchildren. In her earlier years she participated in Barrel Racing and Steer Undecorating. She loved branding cattle with her family and was the “family mechanic”. Cynthia enjoyed handi-crafts, beading and sewing and she sold her hand made outfits for a living. She was a descendent of George Twoyoungmen who signed Treaty #7 Signatory. Cynthia will be sadly missed by her loving mother Violet; four children, Garold (Tessa), Tia (Todd), Erica (Lane), and Jaydee; eight grandchildren, Shawna, Impabin, and Prudence, Shayla, Todd Jr, and Liela, Romby and Braylon; two brothers, Greg (Arlene) and Garth; three sisters, Gwen (Elliot) Michelle, and Jennifer (Farrell). She is also survived by her partner Gerald Hunter and his family; aunts, Kathleen (Henry), Martha, and Mary Jane (Dallen); uncle Felix (Wanda); and her many extended family members. Cynthia was predeceased by her brother Daron in July 2015; her father Nat Jr.; paternal grandparents Nat Sr. and Gertrude; maternal grandparents Isaac and Lucy; uncles Wallace, Orbin, Gordon and John Dee; aunts Helen and Frances and her cousins Merril and Charlie. Wake Services will be held at the residence Violet Beaver (Morley, AB) on Tuesday, December 8, and Wednesday, December 9, 2015. Funeral Services will be held at Bearspaw Youth Centre (Morley, AB) on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Wesley Cemetery (Morley, AB).
