Obituary of DOYLE ANDERSON

July 27, 1991 – Calgary, AB September 28, 2015 – Revelstoke, BC Nadia Sinead Doyle Anderson, light and love of our lives, passed away on September 28, 2015 in a tragic accident. Born in Calgary on July 27, 1991, Nadia filled the lives of all who knew her with love. Music and laughter followed her everywhere she went. Nadia was a rare and special person, a true force of nature. She was the perfect storm of beauty, talent, and intelligence, with a deep kindness and wisdom far beyond her 24 years. Nadia was a loving daughter, amazing sister, and steadfast friend. She may have been tiny, but Nadia’s presence in our lives was gigantic. She filled every room she entered, and you couldn’t help but be mesmerized by her. Her wickedly delightful sense of humour could leave you holding your sides from maniacal laughter, and her profound insights about life and love could stay with you for weeks at a time. Nadia was nothing short of brilliant, in every possible way. Music was the great love of Nadia’s life. Her car and her home were always filled with music, and her tastes ran the gamut from the Beatles to Skrillex. She had a beautiful, brassy alto voice, and never looked happier or more at ease than when she was singing. She was always a joy to listen to, and none of us will ever forget the sound of her voice. Nadia’s short life was a hard one, and its challenges weighed heavily on her. Despite all the adversity she faced, however, Nadia was incredibly strong and resilient. She never, ever gave up. Her tenacity and courage should be admired. Nadia meant the world to us, and we will never forget her. Hug your loved ones tight every chance you get, because you never know what could happen. Nadia is survived, and missed incredibly, by her parents Shama Joynt and Jim Doyle; step-parents Curtis Joynt and Penny Doyle; sister Nazneen Doyle and her husband Iain; step-brother Jayson Joynt and his wife Sarah; step-sister Mallorie Miller and her partner Tom; step-brother Blake Litchfield and his partner Michelle; and step-sister Olivia Litchfield. She is also survived by her grandparents Mohammed and Naseema Yunus, and Nancy and Michel Sauvageau. Nadia also leaves behind her partner Daryl Anderson. And of course, we cannot fail to mention Nadia’s many wonderful aunts, uncles, cousins, and the dear friends who were as close to her as family. Each one of these people loved Nadia very much.
