Obituary of Tristan Brody Nickel PARKES

Tristan Parkes beloved son of Liam and Dana of Calgary, passed away on September 18, 2015 at the age of 19 years.
Tristan was born on February 17, 1996 in Grande Cache, Alberta. In his short life, he also lived in Edmonton, AB and Kitimat, BC, where he was known as the ‘Barefoot Fisherman’ by the old time fishermen at the river. After Kitimat, he moved to Fort McMurray, AB where his passion for dubstep/house music came alive and he began recording his own music. In 2013, Tristan moved to Calgary where he lived with his family.
He is survived by his parents, Liam and Dana; brother, Bailey; sister, Maia; grandparents, Joe and Jean Parkes and Hank and Jackie Nickel; aunts, Tracy and Jon Janssen and Shawna and Mike Burley; cousins, Tanna, Jack, Kate, and Madeline; numerous great-aunts and uncles and second and third cousins.
A Celebration of Tristan’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
