Obituary of William Anderson Smitty SMITH

SMITH, William Anderson “Smitty” January 18, 1933 – Livingston, Texas September 19, 2015 – Calgary, Alberta It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Smitty on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the age of 82 years. Smitty was predeceased by his beloved wife Mary Lou on September 23, 2013. Smitty will be interred next to Mary Lou in Crane, Texas. They enjoyed 56 years of marriage and Smitty missed her immensely every day. He spent almost all his working years in the oil and gas industry. He had several varied interests including hand gliding and piloting hot air balloons. We wish to thank the team at Rockyview Fisher Centre, Unit 58 for their gentle care over the past several months; as well as the team from Home Instead. A special thanks goes out to Al Caton, Ed and Michele Quiring and Pat Silva for their support and love during the past years.
