Condolences
Dear Janet, Grant, Trent and families. Your mom and I enjoyed an enduring friendship over the years in spite of the distances between us. I admired her energy and delightful personality and her sense of humor. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to lunch with her at the Phoenix (her favorite eating place) and to have had many fun rounds of golf. Last lunch date was last Christmas season. You can be very proud of having such a vital lady as your mother. Love to all, Joan
Our deepest sympathies to the Harder, Knight, and Carothers families.
I had the pleasure of golfing an interclub match against Anna a few years ago at my club, Country Hills. It took me a few minutes to realize that my opponent was the sister of long-time neighbour, Barbara Knight. When we introduced ourselves before the match, she told me that her sister’s name was Barbara, too. I remembered Anna from visits at the Knight’s home many years ago. We had a delightful morning of golf (I don’t remember who won) and lunch after.
Pinot Grigio is my favourite post-golf drink and I will think of Anna and you all when I enjoy my next glass.
My sincere condolences Janet,Grant, Trent and family on your loss.
I am very saddened to hear of Anna’s passing. She was such an elegant lady. What an asset she was to the DAR Canadian Chapter. She will be dearly missed by all.
We were so sad to hear of Anna’s passing. Mom always spoke so highly of Anna and her family. Lana and I had a great time golfing with her at Highwood several years ago and were impressed how she walked and carried her clubs. Our thoughts are with you at this sad time. Don
Today is the day you say good bye to a wonderful lady. I know she was very loved as wife, a mother, grandma, Auntie and a dear friend to the many people that she shared her wonderful smile with. May God bless all the treasured memories that will give you comfort in the days to come. Thinking of everyone today and know that we are with you in our thoughts and prayers. RIP Auntie Anna. xoxo
Such a lovely Lady. I enjoyed many rounds of golf with Anna. She was always ready to share wonderful stories of her family. I am so honored to have know her.
With my deepest condolences
Dear Janet, Grant, Trent, and Trixi,
we are sad to hear that Aunt Anna had passed away. Anna has always been such inspirational light in our lives and encouraged us all to seek happiness while striving for our own greatness. She lived her life in a way that celebrated every moment and brought joy to everyone who surrounded her. It’s the brilliant sparkle in her eye that we’ll always remember and cherish so many fantastic memories we had together. Our condolences and love to your family.
Love, Larry, Carmen, Mark & Daniela
Jim and I were so sad to read of Anna’s recent passing. She was a wonderful lady and character whom we have had the pleasure of knowing, golfing with and enjoying Pinebrook Getaway trips and social events for many years.
She loved her golf, meeting people, having new experiences and especially social events. She also played a very good mouth organ.
We have many happy memories and photos of a very special lady. She will be very much missed. Jim & Ann B.
Best wishes to my cousins (Janet, Grant & Trent) on Auntie Anna’s passing. She had a good, long life & will be missed. Our hearts are with you…Nettie Larson (Harder’s) daughter, Geta Jackoway
So many memories of Anna on the fairways and greens of Pinebrook golf course. Her laughter and enjoyment while playing golf will always be remembered. Many golf trips to California where the decision to play either golf or play bridge became the question of the day. Pinot Grigio was always the drink of the day – enjoyed by all.
You will certainly be missed Anna.
