Obituary of Jack McMEEKIN

September 1, 1931 – Calgary, AB July 29, 2015 – Calgary, AB It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jack McMeekin, surrounded by his family on July 29, 2015. Jack was a loving devoted husband to Helen for 59 years, a wonderful father to Denise (Bruce) and Lori (Dave) and the best Papa to his six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Jack is also survived by his sister Della. Jack was a proud Calgarian, born and raised in the City he loved and a devoted (fanatical) fan of the Stampeders and the Flames. Jack loved nothing better than getting together with family and friends to enjoy a game of cards (as long as he was winning), and to share in the many wonderful celebrations and accomplishments of his family.
