Condolences
To Terry and all of Dale’s family and friends; my heartfelt and deepest sympathies to you all. I. Was so. Saddened and shocked by the news. Dale was so full of life and I will forever remember her kindness to me from the minute I arrived in Calgary. She was kind and fun and warm and wonderful to be around. I hope the memories of her will carry you through this difficult and sad time.
Madison, Terry and Family,
Terry…words cannot begin to express how deeply saddened Shelley and I were to receive word of Dales passing while we were in the Okanagan. We will forever cherish the conversation and laughter that we had the opportunity to share with Dale, Ed and yourself on the midway as we were leaving the Stampede just the week before.
Madison…although we have not had the opportunity to meet you, I want to say that your Moms’ soul was full of kindness, she possessed a caring, selfless spirit and a ‘can do” attitude…all wonderful qualities that you will carry with you in the days and years ahead.
Both Shelley and I are better people for having known her…Dale was a very special person.
I was very sad to hear of Dale’s passing. I had not seen Dale in years but it sounds like she could still light up a room when she walked in. I have nothing but fond memories of Dale, one of which was being a bridesmaid at my wedding. She had a huge heart and was a very good friend to me. We had many, many laughs and that is what I will remember most. My deepest condolences to all Dale’s family and friends.

Dale, what can I say as this world’s heart breaks losing a bright, colorful, loving and warm woman? My days working with you were my favorite, BECAUSE of you. Your hugs, jokes, smiles, how you teased me, how you gave me advice. I hope you knew how special you were to all of us. We miss you already.
Madi
We were terribly saddened to hear about the loss of your dear mother. We want you to know that we are holding you and your family in our thoughts and in our prayers, and offer our most deep felt condolences to your family.
Madi, Terry, family and loved ones,
Our heartfelt condolences go out to you!
Miss Madi, I cannot even imagine what you are going through right now, what I do know is your mom loved you and was sooooo very very proud of you. I always laugh when I think of that beautiful faux fur coat your mom brought over one day. It was great for a Halloween costume. Good times, great memories! Keep them close, always. xoxox
What a sad piece of news. Terry and Madison, Dale was a delight to work with and made kindness the foundation of all her dealings.
She will be missed.

My heart goes out to Terry, Madison, Dale’s family and all who knew this vibrant soul so full of life and laughter. Dale you were one of the first people I met when I got into the crazy music biz and I remember so many fun times throughout the years. I hope you know how many lives you’ve touched and how dearly you will be missed. I wish I could be there today, my deepest sympathy and condolences to everyone.
Dear Madi and Terry,
I am so sorry to hear the news of Dale’s passing. I first met Dale as my account rep when I worked at the Mustard Seed, but she soon became someone I considered to be a dear friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time. May we all strive to live up to Dale’s example of what it means to be a friend.
She will be missed,
Diana Schwenk
I met Dale on a trip to Las Vegas with a personal friend of mine. Dale was so vibrant and full of such great energy. My deepest thoughts and prayers to all the family with her loss.

To Dale’s Family & Friends,
To lose someone so dear and so well-loved at such a young age is tragic. All of us at The Mustard Seed who knew her were sad to hear of her passing. It is with deepest sympathy that we offer our condolences. It is also with overwhelming gratitude that we accept any memorial tributes for Dale. She was such a kind, generous woman who cared about people, especially those experiencing poverty and homelessness. I personally had the pleasure of working with Dale when she was our rep for Corus Entertainment. She preferred to meet in person rather than talk on the phone or email. Her love of people and her passion for life were infectious. One couldn’t help but match her enthusiasm and cheerfulness in her presence. She would always go above and beyond to help us get the word out about The Mustard Seed over the radio waves and we loved her for it.
My middle name is also Dale and we would joke about our ages and how our mothers named us after Dale Evans. :) It really dated us!
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of Dale’s loved ones, especially Terry, Madi, Phyllis and Mel.
Blessings,
Karen Taylor-Binnie on behalf of The Mustard Seed
Dearest Madi and family,

Dale MacLeod Loud voice, large heart, dauntless attitude. What a great lady. She had a quality of friendly forthrightness with a touch of sass that will be dearly remembered and often missed. My thoughts and condolences go out to everyone missing her.
Dale MacLeod was a deeply respected and valued member of our Sales team at Corus Radio Calgary. I am saddened by her sudden loss and offer heartfelt condolences to her family and friends. To all who loved her, may your wonderful memories carry you through this very sad time. I am pleased to contribute to the Trust Fund for Dale’s daughter, in her memory.
We were so saddened by the news of Dale’s sudden passing and want to extend our deepest sympathies to Madi, Terry and all of Dale’s family. You are in our constant thoughts and prayers during this challenging time and beyond. Dale was one very special and amazing lady who would brighten any room with her infectious smile and energy. I am so honoured to have known her. Her love for her beautiful daughter Madi was second to none – a mother/daughter relationship that most only dream of having. Memories of this special lady will always be held close to our heart and her beauty never ever forgotten.
Thinking of you…
Carolyn & Carina Leonard
Dale and I first met in 1985 shortly after I had acquired West Canadian and for many years she was a regular visitor to my office. She came to sell me advertising, of course, but very often she just came by for coffee and to talk. Dale was simply a wonderful person and so much fun to spend time with. She did try to get me involved in a couple of fund raising schemes that she had but I declined. In the past several years I have not seen her as often, but occasionally when I was at Corus, she would be there with a big smile and a booming greeting.
I cannot tell you how sad it made me to see her photo in the obituary section. My heart goes out to all of her family and friends. Dale was just terrific and she will be so missed.
Terry and Madi we are deeply sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Dale was beautiful, wonderful and always made anyone and everyone feel right at home. She will be terribly missed. God bless. Thinking of you both in this difficult time.
Terry & Madi, our hearts go out to you & your families at this most difficult time. You have been in our thoughts and prayers all week long. Dale & Terry, thank you for recently reaching out and spending time together with me in Penticton. It means so much to me even more now. You were always such a sweetheart Dale. Over the last 20 years, you took me under your wing many times to network in business and I loved you for that. You were always a smart, beautiful, caring soul who gave it her all and told it like it was. It was an honour to have you as my friend Dale and I thank you for all that you’ve done for me. I will cherish all of our wonderful times together and will miss you my dear.
Dearest Madi, we are so saddened to hear of your mom’s passing. We are grieving with you and will keep you and your family in our prayers, that God will grant you comfort. Your mom was so bubbly and so much fun to be around. We enjoyed having you guys over when you visited NY last year & was looking forward to another visit. Take care Madi and please come and visit again. Hugs from all of us Verina, Vernon, ken, sherry, Krista and others Your New York Family
A night out with Dale: hugs, laughter, texts with Madi, elbowing me in the ribs, hand patting my knee, gossip about countless people I’ve never met, more texts with Madi, engaging our server at dinner topped off with coercing a parking attendant at the Jublilee into letting us park in a restricted area because her sole was detaching from her boot and then flip flopping across the foyer, up the stairs and into our seats!
Cheers my dear and happy trails to you, until we meet again.
I was so very sad to hear of Dale’s sudden passing. She was a wonderful, strong, kind and caring woman. I loved Dale’s quirky nature, her playfulness and her zest for life. Dale will be missed by so many people. She is now venturing on to do great things. We lost an angel on this earth and I know one day we will all be able to be with Dale again. My deepest condolences to Madi, Terry and all of Dale’s family. I am not able to be at the service on Friday as I am out of country, but I will be there in heart!
To Dale’s family and friends,
Dale was a real shining star in my life as well. She was a beautiful person who gave it her all. I’m so sorry for your loss. For Madde: You were always foremost in her mind. She was my closest friend too. She had that capacity and ability to be genuinely close to many. God Bless her on her journey. My thoughts and prayers are are with you.
If tears could build a stairway
and thoughts a memory lane
I’d walk right up to heaven
and bring you home again
No Farewell words were spoken
No time to say good-bye
You were gone before I knew it
And only God knows why.
My heart’s still active in sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No one can ever know.
Since you’ll never be forgotten
I pledge to you today
A hallowed place within my heart
Is where you’ll always stay.
Your legacy lives on in Madi, the
wonderful daughter you raised, you
should be proud, her personality & poise will always stand out in the crowd.
But now I know you want us
To mourn for you no more
To remember all the happy times
Life still has much in store.
We love you Dale, be proud of the
life you led & sharing your light
with both family and friend.
Goodbye for now dear friend,
until we meet again…….
Our sincere condolences go out to

Dale was the best !! We met 20 yrs ago when she was my country 105 rep when Cowboys arrived in Calgary and we had many a lunch battles on rates, but in the end; Dale always made me feel like I had won! Btw we had too laugh during those battles. I could never be angry with her she was way tooooo sweet. “Vickers you breaking me–Why don’t you just buy our station, start programming yourself and get on with it and then alright don’t worry I will make everything work!” Then Scarlet started negotiating rates with her the last few years and she would often say to her “you sound just like Vickers you guys are breaking me!” Scarlet would often say how much Dale was the best and just loved her personality.
One of her many gifts was she made everyone around her feel good about themselves. My wife Danelle loved to gossip with her over many a lunch and Vegas trips. Everyone loved her incredibly sweet personality DALE YOU WILL BE DEARLY MISSED!
