Obituary of Frederick Charles WHITMORE

October 29, 1949 – Picton, Ontario May 25, 2015 – Calgary, Alberta Fred, beloved husband of Corinne Whitmore (nee Bueckert) of Calgary, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2015 at the age of 65 years. Fred was a friend to all he met and was known for his practical jokes. He was an effervescent and jovial man with a zest for life. Helping others was a big part of his life spending many years with the Masons and the Shriners. He also volunteered extensively with the Red Cross. Fred worked all over Canada in mining and sales before settling in Calgary in 1976. He attended Culinary Arts at SAIT Polytechnic and won many medals in competitions all over Canada and Singapore. Fred is survived by his wife, Corinne; daughter, Michell Kennedy (Alex); grandchildren, Josh, Sarah, Emerson, and Jaimeson; siblings, Judy Whitmore, Jo-Anne Hordal (Wade), David Whitmore, Cindy Whitmore, Kelly Jane McIsaac (Colin), Rhonda Shannon, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two sons, Martin and Michael Whitmore; parents, Jim and Gladys Whitmore; brothers, Michael Whitmore and Ron Whitmore; and sister, Dorothy Danis. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive S.W.
