Obituary of Janice Gail HEHR

April 25, 1962 – Calgary, AB May 7, 2015 – Calgary, AB Janice Hehr, beloved wife of Barry Hehr of Calgary, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at the age of 53 years. Janice was born in Calgary to Murray and Arlene Farquharson. She grew up in the Varsity area of Calgary and graduated from Sir Winston Churchill High School. She then attended the Facility of Horticulture at Olds College. She worked at Cana Construction, Massey Ferguson, and then Lilydale Foods, where she was working when she met Barry. Janice then had her little pride and joy, her son Jacob. She quit her job to become a stay at home mom. She loved working on her painted glass and Christmas decorations, and spending time with her dogs. Janice enjoyed her trips to Hawaii and Mexico immensely. Janice is survived by her husband, Barry; son, Jacob; her three loved dogs, Stuart, Molly and Ace who were always by her side; her sister, Lynn Pople; her two nieces, Tana (Pablo) Olmedo, Sara Shephard and their families; her father-in-law and his wife, Clay and Georgina Hehr and numerous friends and other family members. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Murray and Arlene Farquharson; her mother-in-law, Ruth Hehr; and her niece, Jodi Shephard. For those wishing to pay their respects, a gathering will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive S.W.
