September 13, 1933 – Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan September 6, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Larry, our beloved husband, father and papa, on September 6, 2018 at the age of 84 years. Larry will be forever loved by his wife of sixty-three years, Jean Clay and will be terribly missed by his children Lori (John), Wendy (Don) and Scott (Wendy); as well as his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who he was so very proud of. Larry started his career with Royalite Refinery in Prince Albert, S.K. He spent many years in S.K., B.C, and A.B. with Gulf Oil, where he retired from in Calgary, AB. Larry decided he wasn’t ready for retirement and went on to become a successful Stock Broker with Prudential Bache. Larry fulfilled a life-long dream and later retired to Vancouver Island, B.C., they moved back to Calgary to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Prior to Larry and Jean both moving into long-term care, they spent twenty-one years living at Heritage Pointe, De Winton, AB. Those who knew Larry well; knew he was a true cowboy at heart. He spent many a day over the years riding tall in the saddle. “Forever loved and forever in our Hearts” A Private Family Gathering will be held.
