Condolences
Eileen, to you and your family I send my sincere sympathy at the passing of Jack. May the great Comforter be with you all as you mourn this significant loss. What wonderful memories you must all have of a life well lived, a man well loved.
I began playing hockey with Jack at Rose Kohn arena during the 1980’s. Being a goaltender, it was always great to have Jack playing defense in front of me. Although he was small for the position, at our level of hockey what he lacked in size he made up for in smarts and puck handling abilities. Even though we moved on to different groups he always remained amiable at SFC functions. He will be missed by all who crossed his path and especially his family. My sincerest condolences.
I played with Jack for many years from Renfrew when 55+ was formed to meeting Jack & Eileen in a small town outside Santa Rosa, California when we were playing in the tournament there in the 1990’s. A great stay at home defenceman. Dolores and I extend our sincerest condolences to Eileen and family.

When we first started Calgary 55+ hockey Jack played with us at Renfrew and I had the
pleasure to play with him there. He was a great defence partner to have on your team.
He will be missed by all of his team mates.
Eileen, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
As a member of the 55 plus hockey group, I have enjoyed playing with Jack for many years. My wife and I enjoyed getting to know his wife Eileen, and we want to send her our sympathy. Jack was a special person and he will be missed. He was a great defenseman on the ice and always quiet and unassuming. He will be remembered.
When I first joined the Black team at Fish Creek, I was very impressed by Jack’s hockey skills and hockey sense. Jack always made the neatest plays while playing defense, always knowing what to do with the puck, never hurrying and with great calm. Although smaller in size, Jack made the big plays and showed that size didn’t matter. Very sorry for your loss, but I am sure you have many wonderful memories to cherish from your time with Jack. Bless you and your family.
Today I am mourning the loss of my Brother-in-law who was not only my brother but a very dear friend who was very involved with my family all through the years. Though he is gone and we never had a chance to say goodbye, he will never be forgotten. He will be remembered in so many ways and for so many reasons. Special condolences to his wife, my sister and to all of their family, cherish his memory, you were so very loved,
he was always there for you all.
I’ve known Jack for 20 years and enjoyed every hockey game I played behind him. He was first class on and off the ice. I was surprised to meet him on the dance floor at a Polka Fest in Maclin; not all his smooth moves were saved for the game!
My condolences to the family.

Today and for few days I am mourning of my wonderful Uncle. Who was usually the calm guy at any of the Family events. I never had a chance to say something to him before he was gone. He will be remembered in my heart forever. I think about Aunt Eileen and two boys during Mourning time. I will have you in my heart forever. His Memory will stay forever. He will meet his son who passed away in heaven. He will dance with My mother in heaven and they will wait for us come up there. I will always miss you Uncle Jack
