Condolences
Although my brother, Allan, kindly included me in his message and we share many of the same memories, I thought I should offer my personal condolences. I know that my father, Don McMillan, valued greatly Peter as a highly capable member of the Crane family in Calgary. I knew him first from parties (usually at Christmas at the home of my parents) where he was always pleasant and had time to talk with those much younger such as myself. During my brief work one summer in the Crane warehouse and later during inventory, I did not have a lot of personal contact but I know the other Crane employees thought highly of Peter.
I know these are challenging times for all your family (and friends). I anticipate the memory of many happy times you shared will help sustain you as you are all proud of a man who lived his life well.

To Mary & Family
It is with great sadness that we heard of Peter’s passing.
We remember him at this time as a great leader, honest, fair and a shining example of what our company still strives to be, it is a legacy we respect and admire.
He was a true gentleman who made Crane Supply better for being a part of it.

Condolences from the Perkins family on the loss of Peter. When we think back at our youth, Crane Supply was a big part of it, along with memories of your father.
Mary, Don and family…Peter certainly provided a strong example of what hard work, integrity, leadership and just plain old decency could mean. For those lucky enough to work for him, or in my case, as a young sales guy for another division, Peter demonstrated in every way what was best in leadership for staff, customers , vendors and the community at large. It is wonderful that he was able to enjoy such a long and fruitful retirement after giving so much to Crane Supply.
Dear Mary and family: We feel very sad to hear of Peter’s passing. Our Arizona memories will be always with us as we reflect on all the get-togethers we enjoyed with you both.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time – love from us both
So Sorry Mary & Family!! Peter was a Great Friend as well as you!! xoxo

I’m very sad to hear of Peter’s passing. I’m happy to still be part of Crane Supply’s family and I learned so much from him when I had the pleasure of working for him years ago.
I was happy to read that he enjoyed his retirement years golfing too !
My condolences to the whole family !

To Mary and Family
I am saddened to learn of Peter’s fight with cancer and his recent passing.
During my eight (8) years working for Crane Supply in Lethbridge, Calgary Central Service store and the main branch, it was a privilege to work with and get to know your husband Peter and sons Don and Randy.
I still can recall the annual summer camping and fastball get together with Calgary, Lethbridge, Red Deer and Edmonton. They were very fun times.
Please accept my condolences to you and your family.
Your Truly,
Bobby and Hilda Omotani

Dear Mary & family:
I am the son of Don & Bunnie McMillan and remember Peter well from my time at Crane Supply and from the events Mom and Dad used to have at the house. Like my father, Peter was a hard working guy and a man of integrity and by his example, he left his left his mark on me in a positive way that he likely never imagined. Our family (including brother Doug) is thinking of the Finch family in this difficult time.
