I worked with Jim and Pat at the old Gas Company Service Center back in the early 70s. Thats where Pat and Jim first met. Jim was quiet and kind of shy but was a great guy to be around. We had a lot of fun and got a bit of work done as well. We played hockey together on the Gasco Blues hockey team. I recall when Jim bought a new pair of “Bobby Orr” hockey skates with Orr’s autograph and the Bruins logo on each skate. They were a very bright yellow & black, the Bruin’s team colors. Jim took a really bad time from his team mates and our opponents about his “sissy” skates. Jim retired from the game after he tripped on the blue line and took several stitches in repairs. Fond memories that always bring a smile and chuckle when I think back. My condolences to Pat and family for their heartbreaking loss. Glen
