Obituary of Mary Jane CRAIN

May 1, 1920 – Medicine Hat, Alberta January 26, 2015 – Calgary, Alberta Mary Jane beloved wife of the late Ambrose Crain of Calgary, passed away on January 26, 2015 at the age of 94 years. Mary Jane was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta on May 1, 1920. She attended Holy Cross Hospital for nursing and graduated in the class of 1942. She acted as a Lt. Nursing sister for the Canadian Army in Rivers, MB and Lahr, Germany. Mary Jane enjoyed traveling and went on many worldwide adventures. Mary Jane is survived by her brother, Friar Louis Geelan O.F.M. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Ambrose and her parents Louis and Lillian Geelan. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mount St. Francis Retreat Centre (41160 Retreat Road, Cochrane, AB); on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Louis Geelan presiding.
