Obituary of Doris ELLIS

August 4, 1918 – Tiefengrund, Saskatchewan January 24, 2015 – Calgary, Alberta It is with great sadness we announce that Doris, daughter of the late John and Helene Dyck, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the age of 96 years. Doris will be remembered by her loving children Gary and Barbara; her brothers, George (Marion), Martin (Shirley) and Frank (Merle) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Graham and siblings, Helen, John, Ann, Herman, Denis, Bev, Larry and other dear family members. Doris’ fondest memories were always of times when family and friends would gather to share laughter and song. She always looked for and found the goodness in others and her heart was open to all. She would accept and support others with the belief that we all do the best we can. These qualities will continue to guide and inspire all that knew her.
