Obituary of Margaret Alice REDMOND

November 16, 1940 – Montreal, QC January 19, 2015 – Calgary, AB It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Margaret. She has now joined her beloved husband John who went before her in April 2014 to build their future life together. Despite a diagnosis of cancer, she continued to live life fully, always surrounded and supported by the most wonderful and generous friends, neighbours and caregivers. Caring, loving and kind, Margaret was happiest when giving of herself and initiating endeavours to enhance the lives of others. A strong commitment to family, Margaret’s spirit lives on through her two daughters Linda and Treacy (Josée); her sons John (Lori) and Brian (Nathalie); her grandchildren, Ashley, Tyler (Katie), Tim (Amy), Chloé and Sébastien; sister Kathleen (Mike); brothers, Jim (Josephine), Peter (Joan), and John; sister-in-law Eileen Redmond; and the many nieces, nephews, and other relatives that she loved dearly. Margaret was predeceased by her parents Peter and Margaret Treacy; and her sister Eileen. The family will host two celebrations of Margaret’s life. Details for the Calgary celebration are below and details for the Montreal celebration will be shared with family and friends over the coming weeks.
