Obituary of Leslie Gordon ANDERSON

ANDERSON, Leslie Gordon March 11, 1932 – Rose Valley, Saskatchewan January 11, 2015 – Calgary, Alberta Leslie Anderson, beloved husband of Margaret Anderson of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at the age of 82 years. Leslie was born Rosevalley, SK and later moved to Sheridan, MB and then to Black Diamond, AB. He attended grade 11 and 12 at Crescent Heights High School in Calgary and then graduated from SAIT. Leslie met Margaret in Whitewood, SK. They married in 1954 and moved to Calgary. Leslie spent his working career as a draftsman at Gulf Oil, retiring in 1986. Besides his loving wife of sixty years, Leslie is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Terry and Linda Anderson; daughter and son-in-law Cathy and Andy Belanger; three grandchildren Carl Anderson and his wife Lorraine and their children Taylor and Chase, Leroy Anderson and his wife Spring and their sons Reed and Shawn, and Marc Belanger. He was predeceased by his parents Cliff and Violet Anderson and his sister Blanche Daniels. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
