Obituary of Allan Malcolm WALKER

August 15, 1936 – Montreal, Quebec December 23, 2014 – Calgary, Alberta Allan Malcom Walker, 78, passed away on December 23, 2014 at home in Calgary in the arms of his loving wife. He was born on August 15, 1936 in Montreal to Grace Lillian and William Wallace Walker. Allan married Patricia in 1973 in Toronto and were happily married for forty-one years. They moved to Calgary in 1975 and soon after moved to Bragg Creek to raise their family. Allan was a man of humor and wit, life of the party, an avid fisherman, gardener, nature lover, sports player and follower. Allan was a thirty year volunteer with the Bragg Creek Performing Arts Society. He was a member of the Lawn Bowls Association of Alberta and Stanley Park Lawn Bowling Club where he enjoyed coaching, mentoring, volunteering and won many provincial lawn bowling championships. Allan is survived by his loving wife Patricia; their children, Patrick and soon to be daughter-in-law Chantel, and David; brothers, Ron and Bruce and their families; grandchildren, new great-grandchild, and other beloved relatives. A Celebration of Life will be held at Rotary Park Lawn Bowling Club (705 1st St NE, Calgary AB) on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Lawn Bowlers: Whites Optional.
