Condolences
Dear Rosa. I was very sorry to hear of your loss of Brian. I hope your good memories help sustain you through the rough times. I am not able to go to the funeral as I live in the southeast and do not drive far in winter. I’ll be thinking of you and wish you well in the future. Take care Rosa. Regards, Alma
Rosa, so sorry to hear of Brian’s passing. We will miss him at the gym and at the monthly get together with guys. He enjoyed life and always had a big smile. We will all miss him.
Rosa Sorry for your loss. Hope you find comfort in the great memories you have of him. I am out of town but will contact you when I return. Thinking of you at this difficult time MD
Dear Rosa, Words cannot express the sadness we feel for you and for Brian. We have lost a truly dear friend that we have not known near long enough. We cherish the memories that we do have with you both…and always will. Know we love you and wish we could be there for you. We are holding you in our hearts and know Brian is doing the same from above. Love you.
We were so sorry to learn of Brian’s passing. However, no one would wish him to suffer any longer in his condition and, although he is finally resting in peace, it does not make this very difficult time any easier for Rosa and immediate family to endure this great loss.
We befriended both Brian and Rosa many years ago through the YMCA. Frank and all of Brian’s many “Y”friends will always cherish their laughs and varied discussions during gym workouts and over lunch and a few drinks at Shank’s. Everyone really admired his positive attitude , his wonderful sense of humor, and generous spirit.
Although we have all lost a wonderful friend, many beautiful memories remain. Hopefully Rosa , you and your family will find some comfort in your special memories. It is a blessing that you and Brian enjoyed so many wonderful travels together.
Again, our heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy – Frank and Marilyn

Our thoughts are with the family through this difficult time. I will always remember Uncle Brian’s laugh and his ability to cheer me up when I needed it. Love from the West coast:)
Dear Rosa, There is sooo much I want to thank you for!!! My Dad was the epitome of a man of a leader of strength. His courage thru this journey has awed me. He suffered so quietly not wanting to burden anyone. This shows his true strength of character!!!!! He was always sooo loved by me my entire life even though we couldn’t be together. I want you to take solace in the fact that you will always have a special guardian angel watching over you!!!!!! He will continue to take care of you and get you thru this challenging time. I love you both so so much!!!!
We are very sad to hear about Brian’s passing. You have our deepest sympathy and you will be in our prayers.

Rosa: My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. Words are not enough to help you through this time but please know I am there for you. Love. Yvonne
What can I say about my friend Brian? For the last 30 years, he has been the most steadfast and with me through joy and sadness. We shared the good times, the hard times and through it all he remained the “rock” that went with my roll. I will miss him and there is a big empty in my life where he used to be.
I can see him cheering the Stamps and cursing the Lions from the nosebleeds up there. I am sure you’re in good company, Brian. Try not to swear too much and shock the angels.
We are so sorry to hear about your loss Rosa. Although we lost touch over the years, we have fond memories of the time we spent together with the Rafaels and Roberts.. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
With heavy hearts we extend our Deepest Sympathy to you Rosa and family. Lloyd, Renate, Paul & Gayle.
Our deepest sympathy to you and your family our prayers and thoughts are with you Ralph and Maureen himmelspach
Rosa we are so sorry for your loss, especially at this time of year, Dianne let me know last night. I will let Julia Haynes know also – she said she saw you some time ago. She still keeps in touch with me. Will try to get into town Monday – I do not drive much in city anymore – only to the hospitals for tests for me or George.
I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of your husband Brian McDERMOTT, he will be missed by you ROSA and his Family. We have so many memories going back to when you came to Canada staying at our place on the farm building Memories and family. You were like a sister to me and Rose. We will be keeping you and Family in our prayers Lloyd
Dear Rosa,
We are so saddened by the passing of Brian.
It is hard to believe all of us Y’s Guys were drinking beer with him at Hudsons, in mid November. A memory like that, is precious. He was in good spirits, but I could tell he was worried with his progress.
Lori and I remember our lunches on Maui with you both, and I always enjoyed my short time with this good guy.
We are thinking of you.
Jim & Lori Kromm
