Obituary of Abraham Abe PENNER
September 21, 1937 – Winkler, Manitoba
December 17, 2014 – Calgary, Alberta
Abraham Penner, beloved husband of Esther Penner of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the age of 77 years.
Abe enjoyed a happy, productive life. He appreciated his family, friends, neighbours and the clients whom he worked with over the years. He will be remembered for his ability to befriend anyone and everyone he met and make everyone feel special.
Abe is survived by his loving wife Esther; three children, Tom, Randy (Laurel Christie) and Roseanne (Bob Betteridge); five grandchildren, Michelle, Brittany, Oliver, Lewis, and Lorenzo; two great-grandchildren, Jase and Emmett; a sister Doris Wiebe; and a brother Ed (Pat) Penner; also numerous nieces and nephews as well as Esther’s family.
Abe was predeceased by his brothers, David in infancy, Tony and Dan; and sisters, Wilma and Jane.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North) on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
