Obituary of Jacob PENNER

September 1, 1932– Chortitz, Manitoba November 12, 2014 – Calgary, Alberta It is with profound sadness but with peaceful hearts that we bid farewell to Jake for he has ascended to the Kingdom of Heaven to be with our Lord Jesus Christ. Jake was the fifth child of fifteen born to Isaac and Maria Penner. Jake is first and foremost remembered by his loving wife Iris, a woman with steadfast heart and enduring tenderness. Jake is survived by his daughters Barbara (Michal Colborne), Tammay (Ian Cruikshank), and Robynn (David Colborne); six grandchildren Ross Cruikshank, Anna Cruikshank, Celeste Colborne, Jack Cruikshank, James Colborne, Amelia Colborne and by his remaining twelve siblings. He is predeceased by his mother Maria, father Isaac and brothers Ike and Martin.
