Obituary of Joanne Glenda WOLITSKI

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Joanne Glenda Wolitski. Joanne was born August 6, 1958 in Winnipeg Manitoba. She passed into glory peacefully after a brief battle with cancer on November 1, 2014 with family close by her bedside. Joanne loved nature especially her yard full of flowers, and her garden. She also enjoyed many camping and fishing trips, one her most favorite things were to sit around a big camp fire and enjoy an evening under the stars. Joanne always loved cheering on her Winnipeg Blue Bombers, and we loved listening to her enthusiasm for her team. But there is nothing we will miss more than the sound of the big bellowing laughter. Joanne is survived by her loving husband Brian and their little pet dog Joey. She is also survived by her brother Alfred (Wanda) Kohanik; sister Alice (George) Felbel; sister Elaine Nodwell; brother Arthur (Helen) Kohanik; her nieces and nephews; as well as Brian’s family. Funeral Services to Celebrate Joanne’s Life will be held at First Alliance Church (12345 – 40th Street S.E.(use north entrance)) on Friday, November 7, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. Interment at Mountain View Cemetery (1515 100th Street S.E.).
