Condolences
To the McLeod Family:
I was profoundly saddened to learn of Bob’s passing. I worked with Bob at Fluor. He influenced my career in many ways. We are all spiritual beings, living our human experience. Travel this dark road knowing “Life is eternal, and love is immortal, and death is only a horizon
and a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight.”
We were saddened to hear of Bob’s recent passing. We have fond memories of several chats in the back garden , when he was our neighbour in Sundance, and later when we toured Fluor and the new home in Heritage Point. He was always friendly and extremely affable. We offer our sincere condolences to Theresa, Robert, John and Katie and their respective families and trust that the abundance of good memories they share with Bob will help them through this difficult transition period.

Dear Theresa and family:
Sharon and I were very saddened to learn of Bob’s passing. Our deepest sympathies and prayers are with you and your family.
I had the privilege to work with Bob both as a client and as a colleague at Fluor Canada. His steady hand on the tiller and his common sense, down-to-earth approach to leadership were unique attributes. I will always count Bob among the finest of the leaders I encountered during my career.
Bob will be greatly missed. May his memory comfort you in the days ahead.
To the McLeod Family,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your husband, father and grandfather.
I worked at Fluor during the time of Bob’s leadership and was saddened to hear of his passing. Bob was a fabulous leader and had a good heart. He had the ability to lead with his skills and his heart. A very unusual combination, I must say. When he left Fluor, is when I decided to leave the company after 21 years.
I learned of Bob’s passing through Jose Herrero, who was my boss for 15 of my 21 years at Fluor.
I pray for strength and comfort for your family in the days ahead. Know that Bob will be with you all and you will still have a relationship with him, just in a different way.
May God bring you comfort and bless your family.
Sue Schneider
Don and I would like to offer our sincere condolences for your loss. I worked with Bob at Fluor as his Controller. He was a person who left footprints on your heart. Bob had an amazing talent to simplify things and he taught me in the world of fiance(and I quote him) “the goes into’s have to be greater than the goes outta’s”. I have many fond memories in working with Bob and we know what the heart has known nothing can take away.
Sincerely
Stephanie and Don
We were saddened to hear of the news that Bob had passed away. We have always had respect, admiration and of course great memories of all those years working together with Bob in South Africa. Our sincerest heartfelt condolences to Theresa and the McLeod family.
First of all I like to extend my condolences to the McLeod family and especially Rob. I am shocked to see this announcement of Bob having passed away so young. My memory of Bob, as our fearless (Canadian) leader at Fluor, brings thoughts of respect, his calm resolve, his dry humor, his cooperation, his willingness to try new work processes. To me, Bob was a great person to work with and for. Bob’s pride in our Canadian Fluor office and the products we delivered was always an encouragement to me. I am thankful for his leadership and the personal time he afforded me.
Dear McLeod Family,
On behalf of the Jacques family from California (and formerly Secunda RSA), we send you our heartfelt condolences, love and thoughts for the loss of our beloved Bob. We were very sorry to hear of the passing of our ‘uncle Bob’; he was a great man and will remain indelibly tied to the memories of a great time in our lives. Please know that we stand in prayerful solidarity with you in this time of infinite sadness…
