Condolences
Dear Margaret and family,
May the memories of your beautiful daughter and the knowledge that others care sustain you at this difficult time. My thoughts are with you.

Dear Dale and Margaret,
Words cannot express the sadness we feel on learning of Katy’s passing. She fought a very courageous battle with you, Nathan and the rest of your family by her side the entire time. Her courage, strength and spirit will be a large part of her legacy.
May your memories be a comfort to you and keep the Katy that you loved so much still very close in your heart.
With our deepest sympathy to you and all of your family.
Fred, Cheryl, Jennifer, Alex and Scott
Katy and I went to bishop Pinkham and western together. In bp we were in band. I’m so sorry for your loss. Wishing you many good wishes and His choicest blessings.

We want to send our deepest condolences to all of the family. Our thoughts & prayers are with all of you.
I didn’t have the opportunity to meet Katy, however I had heard nothing but amazing things over the years from friends and family. Nathan I send my sincere condolences to you and your family. I send you a great deal of love and hope your way. Our thoughts are with you.
Dear Margaret,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Sending you much love.
Please accept my deepest condolences in the passing of Katy and at such a young age. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Being neighbours with you on Sharon Avenue afforded us a clear view of your outstanding parenthood. Our children played together and that is where we met your Katy. Our hearts reach out to yours in this incredible journey of joy and grief. Grief for your loss but joy in knowing that you have experienced such love together in your family and friendships and that Katy will be waiting for you when it’s your turn for the journey. Your ex-neighbours but forever friends…..the Bachynski Family.
Dear hubby, parents and friends of Katy,
May your memories of Katy help to keep you strong and in the best moments of Katy’s very happy life. I am so sorry for your loss! Colleen
Katy instructed our Aquafit in Lethbridge and was the greatest. She had so much energy and vitality and was loved by all of us. We will miss you Katy
Although we don’t know Katy, we knew Dale and Margaret Jessop, when we attended Scarboro United Church. I must say I am so sorry for your loss. One of the reasons is that you both had so many acts of love and respect for others, that also only the most loving parents could do for their child. I have inserted the poem below for you that I wrote – if nothing, it makes sense to me, and hopefully to you too.
Twilight Solitude
If god were to show his presence,
I believe that I would be,
A dancing Palomino
On an effervescent sea
If angels were my guardians
I believe that they would see
My life line and my heartbeat
Reaching sky beyond a tree
If unicorns would show the way
to renewal, power, healing, eternal life
Oh how, and how, would we beckon love
till the end of the earth.
And Dale and Margaret, our precious beloved,
just let us know when you hurt.
For we are the god, the angels who guard,
and the unicorns of your destiny.
Our deepest sympathy, Love,
Claudia, Max and Quentin … your Palomino friends.
I forged a friendship with Squirrel at Silver Creek Ranch. She helped me pick my nature name out of a 10th grade Biology text book on the bus; that was the only time I opened that text all week. One of my few friends I had in high school she was always a joy to be around and made the hearts of those around her sing.
Time has passed and although I have no new memories of “all grown up” Katy, she stays young in my heart as I relive our high school years and time at camp. I cherish those memories and she will continue to sing on my heart. “One thing that I know, and I know it’s true; I’m better now, for the knowing of you.”
My condolences to her partner, close friends, and family for your loss. Thank you for sharing her with the world.
Though there’s little that friends can say or do, may the unspoken words of caring and the silent prayers that come from within the heart give you strength and peace. May God be with you in this time and hold you gently in his heart. Martha
Deepest sympathies from the Hughes – Wood family. We have been privileged to be friends and neighbours with the Jessop family for many years. Our hearts break for all of them in their loss of Katy. We know they will find comfort in their memories of Katy and their love for each other. We love you, Jessop.
we are so sorry to hear of Katy’s passing. although we (Mandy) didn’t know her that well, I feel I knew her through fabulous childhood stories the Lalliers would tell. Rest in peace Katy
What a great capture of one person’s life if that is even possible to do. Margaret, you did a wonderful job and there are places in the words where I was “yep, that sure is Katy”. I know this must have been hard for you to write. I can feel it when I read the words that they came from your heart. Know that you are in mine every day. Love from sharon
