Obituary of Magdalene Antonia Marlene BARON

June 26, 1950 – Hamburg, Germany October 7, 2014 – Calgary, AB Magdalene Antonia “Marlene” Baron beloved wife of Donald, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the age of 64 years. Marlene married the love of her life, Donald Baron on September 11, 1976. They shared a wonderful life between living in Calgary and Okotoks. Marlene loved her many trips to the coast to visit family and friends and enjoyed Bingo, shopping, swimming, Tim Horton’s and attending Weight Watchers’ meetings. Marlene worked as a school bus driver and made many children and families happy in the process. She participated in various community service activities in the Okotoks area, which included helping the Holy Trinity Academy. Marlene enjoyed watching her kids and now her grandchildren grow up and they will miss her and love her forever. Marlene is survived by her loving husband Donald; two sons, Darren and Dustin; and two grandchildren Chelsey and Robyn; sisters Hanna and Renate; and sisters-in-law Diane Pempe. She was predeceased by her daughter Monica Baron, her brother Dieter; sister Irene, and parents Catherine and Alfred Pempe.
