Obituary of Ernest Michael TETREAU

October 12, 2019 – Calgary, Alberta

Ernest Michael Tetreau, P.Eng., beloved husband of Eleanor Tetreau (nee Pardely), of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at the age of 87 years.

Ernest is survived by his loving wife of sixty-three years, Eleanor, two sons and daughters-in-law, Rudy and Glenda, Kevin and Marie Josée; two daughters and  sons-in-law, Cheryl and Craig, Michele and John all of Calgary, AB; six grandchildren, Michael, Jennifer, Meagan, Steven, Brandon,  and Scott; one brother, two sisters, as well as many nieces and nephews. Ernest was predeceased by his mother Albertine, his father Joseph, five brothers, and seven sisters.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Canadian Martyrs Catholic Church (835 Northmount Drive N.W., Calgary, AB) on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.  Reception to follow at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street N, Calgary, AB).

The family extends a sincere thank you to Dr. Rodney Place, Dr. Anna Ells, the pulmonary team at the Foothills Medical Centre, the neurological team at the South Health Campus, and the staff at the Holy Cross Manor for many years of medical assistance, support, and care. Also, thank you to the staff at the Dulcina Hospice for the compassionate care Ernest received.
