Obituary of Shun Kwan KIM

June 21, 1972 – Seoul, South Korea

October 23, 2019 – Calgary, Alberta

Shun Kwan Kim, beloved husband of Sachiko Omoto of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the age of 47 years.

Shaun grew up in Seoul, South Korea. He learned engineering at Kwangwoon University. He worked seven years to build his career as a system engineer in Seoul, then he decided to move to Canada. Shaun had a hard time to settling down as a new immigrant for first few years. Thanks to all the support from friends and he established his new life in Calgary. Shaun worked with great colleagues at Shaw Communications which gave him the opportunity of continuous learning. He was always grateful to people whom he met in his entire life. Shaun was a great husband, father, son, and brother.
