Condolences
Dear Mack
James and I were deeply saddened by the news of Brenda's passing. She never ever said she was ill. She will always hold a very special piece of our hearts and we shared so many wonderful fun times with you both. Brenda would often pop into our office parties after work and when people asked who she was, we would always say she was one of my sisters (both redheads so it worked!) and that's the kind of love that we shared - sisters, just different families but connected by our hearts. She was an amazing hair stylist and was always there to do something special for me, if it was a special occasion or date she'd give me a special comb or something and would be as excited as I was. Such a good listener and advice giver - she was well loved by all who knew her and highly regarded as a hair stylist. Her sense of fun was contagious, her caring, her kindness and her great laugh all will sadly missed. We are going to keep those special memories tight in our hearts and I know Mack, you will keep so many happy memories in your heart as well. Our hearts go out to you and all of Brenda's family at this sad time. Sending you lots of love, Pat and James
I met Brenda in 8th grade home economics class. She was sitting behind us and we asked her to join our table Our group had so many laughs together ...everyone looked forward to attending class because she was there..a funny and warm person..where ever she went fun would follow. Brenda was a warm and generous person. My condolences to her family and friends. She will be dearly missed.
My heart felt condolences to her family and friends.
I have so many wonderful memories of Brenda, including her and I switching Bette’s locker in high school. While in high school I was referred to as “little” Brenda and Brenda as “big” Brenda. She did have a wonderful big personality. She was an amazing and supportive friend. I will always remember her smile, infectious laugh, kindness and generosity. She is forever in my heart. Love “little” Brenda Lee
Brenda was so much more than a caregiver to our children, she truly felt like family. She was such a big part of Charlie, Daisy and Simon’s early years and I always felt like she was my shoulder to lean on. We love you Brenda❤️. Holly, Jamie, Charlie, Daisy and Simon.
My Auntie Brenda, she truly was one of the best. When I picture her, it is with a huge smile, or with her head thrown back in laughter. Some of my fondest memories: the game she invented for us spitting cherry pits off her balcony in Vancouver when we stayed for Expo 86; her sheer enjoyment being around us nieces and nephews - what a kick she got from getting Nick (at maybe age 4) to call her Auntie So-So; her great and powerful bone-crunching hugs. I know she endured a lot of pain in her life, but you'd never have guessed it when she was in Auntie mode because she always gave us her very best. She will be so missed. Sending out big bone-crunching hugs to all the rest of the family, and anyone else who knew and loved her.
