It is with extreme sadness that we announce Robert (Bob) James Wilkins passed away peacefully on November 9, 2019 surrounded by family.

Bob was born in Brandon, Manitoba to Marjorie and Roy Wilkins. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Manitoba before attending Law School at the University of Alberta. After Law School, Bob joined Walsh & Company where he practiced for thirty-five years. In 2003 he was appointed to the Bench of the Provincial Court of Alberta where he quickly ascended to the role of Assistant Chief Judge. Bob enjoyed Skiing, Golf, Squash, Baseball - especially his beloved Blue Jays, spending time on the beaches of Kauai, and coaching his Son’s Baseball and Basketball teams. Most important to Bob was spending time with his friends and family. Bob always conducted himself with integrity, loyalty, generosity, and compassion. He brought an incredible sense of humor to all aspects of life. His laughter was contagious and will never be forgotten.

Bob is survived by his loving Wife and best friend of twenty-four years, Judy Bachmann; his beloved Sons, Kristoffer (Mandy), Jeffrey (Kiera), Jay (Lauren); his Siblings, Don (Jeff), Marilyn (Kim); and his grandson Major.
