Obituary of Patricia LINEHAN (nee Tallon)

January 20, 1933 – Montreal, Quebec

November 8, 2019 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother, Patricia Ann Linehan at the age of 86, on Friday, November 8, 2019 at her residence in Calgary, Alberta.

Pat was born in Montreal, QC and spent many years raising her family in Chateauguay, QC and spent time with her granddaughters, Morgan and Kelly in Calgary, AB. She was best known for her love of reading, baking (especially her Short Breads and Brownies) and getting the best deals while shopping.

Nana Pat loved getting pictures of the babies and thought they were adorable and so smart. They brought her much joy in her last months.

She will be fondly remembered and missed by her four children, Dan (Laura-Lee), Laurie (Walter), Mike (Deb) and Tim (Rose d.2018); her five grandchildren, Connor (Jen), Jesse, Morgan (Rhys), Kelly and Jessie; her two great-grandchildren, Finn and Isla. Pat was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Monica Tallon and brothers, Edward and Harry. 

A private service and burial will take place at a later date in Peterborough, Ontario. Condolences may be forwarded through www.McInnisandHolloway.com. The Linehan family would like to thank the entire staff at Walden, especially Jana, Maggie, Melanie and Emma, for their professional care and kindness shown to Mom during her illness. Walden very quickly became her home and we had peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands.
