I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Rita. I enjoyed working with Rita and Ken through their volunteering at the Airdrie Food Bank. I am glad I got to know such a lovely woman and will fondly remember her beautiful smile and willingness to support those in need. My sincere condolences to Ken and family. She is gone much too soon.

I knew Rita for almost forty years. Our children grew up together. Rita made me a better person, and I am richer for knowing her. I admired so many things about her, and I am thankful that she was my friend, and thankful for the years we shared. Rest In Peace Rita. I love you. ~ J

then I would always see them out walking. Always out walking and they would take the time

We are so sorry to hear of Rita's passing. I have such great memories of our golf games and golf road trips together. She was so much fun to be around and such a beautiful person inside and out. Only 2 short months ago I met Rita and Ken at a week long workshop at Niagara Falls. For more than 2 whole days Rita was sitting next to me. After we introduced each other, she stated quickly: "Oooo, I love you already..." I will never forget her kindness. It made a profound impression on me. I love you too Rita.

Rita was a beautiful person inside and out. We met at starbucks where we were regular coffee drinkers as well as crossword buffs.

It was nice to get to know this lovely couple. She fought a tough battle and she was very courageous but God wanted her to rest and be rid of all pain.
