Condolences
I knew ozzy for the past 5 to 6 years I’m sure of. Always wanted to hang out everytime I came to Calgary to have a good time. A lot of people tried to keep us from chilling lol but somehow always saw him somewhere . Never a dull moment with ozzy ever.
Party on buddy will never forget you. Sorry I couldn’t make it. I’ll party one night next time I come up just for you . RIP
It didn’t matter what kind of “life lesson” we were going through, Ozzie always had a smile to offer.
Ozzie’s life journey may have come to an end but no one can take away the memories he left behind.
My deepest condolences to Tia Patty, Tio Pedro, Paula and Alex.
Sending you love and light
Ozzie was a dear friend of mine. I met him working at Atlas Pizza, probably 14-15 years ago. I worked there for 6 years and, although I live in BC now, when I come to Calgary to visit we still go there for dinner each time. It had become our tradition. Oz had a big heart. He loved with its entirety & sometimes ppl took advantage of this.
6.5 years ago I moved to BC to get help with my struggles with addiction, I've been clean of all mind and mood altering substances ever since. Ozzie was always so proud of me for getting help & cleaning my life up. He was one of my biggest supporters. Each time I visited Calgary he made extra effort to see me. One Christmas he saw me for a fleeting moment, just to drop off a scarf to me that his mother had made. It was so sweet. I knew then his mother & family must be big-hearted like himself. I did not see Oz in August when I was home. I was taking care of my mother who had a bad fall. But I had promised him I’d see him at Christmas. Neither of us could have known...but it still makes this Christmas a bit more solemn. R.I.P. Ozzie, I love you and I will never forget you or your kindness.

I have known Ozzy for awhile and got to meet him through some good friends of ours. Over the years, Ozzy was always a gentlemen and was there for everyone he met. He is a kind soul and a gentle sprit. While it hurts so bad to loose a friend, I will sometimes catch myself smiling about all the times we got to sit around and shoot small talk over beer and good times. Ozzy had a great zest for life and enjoyed riding his bike and really enjoyed the company of his family and friends. Through the last days of Ozzy's life, I was taken back by the sheer love that his family and friends brought around whenever we were together. Ozzy and his family are simply outstanding and I was twice blessed to have met both Ozzy and his wonderful family. I will always be proud and honored to call Ozzy a friend! It was my pleasure to have met him and to have had the opportunity to have a friend like him. I wish to offer my condolences to his family as they have been through so much over the past couple of weeks and wow, what a strong and wonderful, truly exceptional family. I wish I had a brother like Ozzy and Alex, simply outstanding is how I would describe them, the family and all our friends is testament to all that. God Bless you and your family Ozzy. Until we meet again, Cheers my friend: you and yours will ALWAYS be Lovingly remembered and you will NEVER be forgotten or alone. Much Love and Respect.
