Condolences
We were sad to learn of Bob's passing from Larry & Kathy Wegman. He was a generous and caring neighbor to us and we appreciated knowing him. We miss you at the lake and hope you are happy back in Kimberly. Peace and Love, Frank, Heidi, Carson & Caroline Duffy
I remember Bob as a generous and caring man. We met when our children were young and became life long friends.
Many memories were shared, which all turned into traditions. Summer's at the Lake Windermere cottage, sailing on the lake, sharing a beer, cutting Xmas trees with the kids, Highfield BBQ,s etc.
I also speak for my departed husband Jack, when I say that Bob and family were some of our dearest friends.
My condolences.
Mary Meronek age 93
I remember Bob since I was a child and he was a wonderful and generous person like none other. A picture of Bob and I from my wedding stands in my living room and I will always honor his memory. Even though the Atlantic was in-between it always felt close and somehow, it always felt that he was part of our life.

Chris, Bob Junior and all of the family. We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of a truly special person. Bob's spirit of generosity, his wisdom and gentle advise, and his enthusiasm for life were part of what made him so unique. Over the years we shared many meals , too much wine and a lot of stories - his days in road construction when they would go fly-fishing every night after work, skiing in the Alps, the golf course era , his "Swiss Army" buddies, his time in and around Laycock in England, his warehouses in Richmond, back door meetings with Ralph Kline in some upstairs smoke filled room in Calgary, his Denver development projects, his winery in Oregon and many more. All of the stories revolved around the people who were so important to him. We and all who knew him, will miss him dearly .
Dear Chris we are so sorry for your loss. We send you lots of hugs.
My sincere condolences to you Chris and all of your extended family. I remember Bob as bigger than life and I'm sure he lived it to the fullest! I am sure he'll want you to carry on with this same passion. "Bon courage"!

Dear Chris,
We were very sad to hear about Bob's passing away. We have very fond memories of him here in Pernes, at your home in Marysville and at wild St Mary's Lake. Our thoughts are with you and your family at this trying time.
Best regards,
Mary and Philippe
So sorry to hear of your loss Chris. I hope family is around for you to lean on
Hi Chris.
We appreciate receiving your invitation to join in the celebration of Bob’s life.......a multi faceted one indeed. And, we loved your light hearted characterization of him and his ‘stories’ when I am sure your heart is anything but “light” at this time.
The culture that Bob created provided so many of us with a set of business skills and a way to enjoy the fruits of those skills that was unique to any company I encountered in my 45 years in the real estate industry, across several cities. And, it provided us with several lifelong friendships that all started at Bob’s Highfield.....and not least of which was an annual ‘fishing’ trip that Bob started that morphed into a golf week with the same “core” group and which has been going on for over 40 years...the last one being just last week. As always there were many fun Bob Elliott stories throughout the week.
Wendy and I hope that you can find comfort in all of the positive memories that you and Bob shared......those never go away.
Wendy and I have been out of town for almost 3 months until a week ago and in trying to catch up with friends and family and Xmas, we had plugged our calendar so full we are just unable to get to Calgary for the “party”.
We are so sorry that we are unable to be there...please ‘raise a glass’ to Bob on behalf of Wendy and myself!

"My thoughts are of a particularly sunny day on Aspen Mountain; cold, lots of new powder and sunshine - what more could you want. The group was headed for Ruthies for lunch, Bob and I took a different turn and ended up at the top of Ruthies Run; which funnels to the restaurant, to find a whole slope of pristine powder just about to be flattened by the snowplow.!!!! We must have made 5 quick runs; whooping and hollering the whole way, through that lovely soft cloud, just to beat the snowplow to it prior to lunch. A couple of exhausted powder pigs finally joined the group for lunch on the mountain. What a lovely memory, pure enjoyment of seizing the moment.....that was Bob! So glad you touched our lives, Barry & Ros"
Dear Christine,
It’s terrible to hear about loss of your husband. We are honored and blessed to have known Bob. Please accept our sincere sympathy to you and your family.

I knew Bob as a business acquaintance when the family lived in Kimberley and he generously donated to our tennis court rebuilding project.
He was involved with our community in many ways -the beautiful landscaping on Marysville main street was just one example. Condolences to the family.
Barry and I were fortunate to have shared a small part of Bob's life during the "Highfield" days. Barry was included in Heli Skiing trips, fishing trips to Mexico, the "crab party" and ski trips to Aspen. Bob was always the consummate host and enjoyed the fun and laughter of friends enjoying his hospitality. Our last visit was staying with he and Chris in Kimberly, and Chris showing us some of the outstanding golf courses around that area. Barry sure enjoyed doing business with Bob over the years. We have fond memories, sleep well friend. Barry and Ros Scott.
