Condolences
Although Norman was several years my senior in terms of service at Cable and Wireless in the telegraphy/administrative departments and I was on the technical side, I always found him to have a jovial and
pleasant personality whenever I met him.
May He Rest In Peace
So true of your dad. What you saw was what you got. He never pretended and always was able to express his emotions with vigor and vitality. You didn’t mess around with Norman. He had a mind of his own and no one could change it. He will tell you go fly a kite before you could count to 1,2,3. The best of drinkers have tried many times to get him intoxicated including myself. Never worked. Couldn’t be led astray like most men. He loved and adored his wife Leila. Ruth and myself have missed his company and Leila’s over the last couple of years of his life with them not being able to travel to Barbados, the place of his birth that he loved dearly. Norman I know that you will always be looking over and out for your wife and your children, grands and great grands. Our sympathy to Leila, his children and all his family. Norman Rest In Peace. Lots of love and prayers.
Morris and Ruth
