Condolences
My sincere condolences Pat on the loss of your dear "Tom". The double connection we shared at Co-op Insurance, Wayne's long career with CPS and our son's career with the Alberta Sheriff's Department has always felt like kind of a unique connection. May the memories you share of Tom in your long life together, along with the loving support of your family help get you through this difficult time and forward into your future, I would love to meet you for coffee somewhere once things settle down for you...
So sorry Pat to hear of Tom’s passing. I was in the same recruit class as Tom. He joined the job 1 day earlier. He was a good. I will fondly remember him for his laugh, or should I say “Chuckle”
Condolences to you and your family from Lynda & I.
So sorry Pat to hear of Tom’s passing. Tom joined the Police Service 1 day before me. I remember our good times in class and also walking the beat. He had an unforgettable laugh, or should I say “chuckle”
He will be missed but remembered. I will be thinking of you and your family during this sad period.
Roger. Bechthold
Tom was the Senior Constable in the first zone assignment I had. Many us we junior members looked up to Tom. In a bit of a quirk of fate our wives worked together at the Cooperators insurance company.
So sorry for you loss.
Oh.. my heart ached so hard when I heard the news. I was so lucky to have you as my Uncle Tom growing up, and have you as my Godfather. You were a splitting image of my dad and I have so many great memories of a child that involved you and Pat, the only thing that makes this a little easier is that I am positive you and Dad have reconnected and are having a beer together right now ha! Rest easy you lived an incredible life and raised an incredible family. I'll miss hearing about your garden and seeing your face light up when you'd run into Olivia, it always felt like Olivia could meet a part her Grandpa Bob everytime she got to see you.
I was in the same recruit class as Tom back in 1962 and the friendship that was created during that time remained as we progressed during our policing career. It hurts to know that he is gone from here and our deepest condolences to Pat and her family. May the love of family and friends give you comfort and strength during this difficult time.
