It is with great sadness that the family of Fred Storey announces his sudden passing on Monday, December 2, 2019 at the age of 87.

Fred was born on March 3, 1932 in Empress, AB.  Always active, Fred loved hunting and fishing, playing baseball and of course, curling. Beginning in the 1940s, Fred’s curling career progressed from school boys through cash bonspiels and provincial playdowns, culminating in three Canadian and World Curling championships in 1966, 1968 and 1969.

A Celebration of Fred’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Monday, December 9, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
