Condolences
My heartfelt sympathy to Pat, John and Jan for your loss. Ken was an amazing man who always managed to see the best side of people. I was lucky to have shared some of his life experiences, and I am a better person for knowing him.
My condolences to Pat and to Ken's family on his passing. For several years running Ken played bridge with his Mobil Oil friends where he could always be counted on to get the most out of the hand he was dealt. It seems to me Ken played the game of life in a similar manner. I will miss Ken's occasional emails on the Canadian political scene.
Over the past 35 years Ken and I would meet on a regular basis and discuss politics, current affairs and climate change over a coffee or a Scotch. Ken was was extremely knowlegable about current affairs and had an encyclopedic knowlenge of the pros and cons of climate change. I will sorely miss chatting with Ken.
My sincere condolences mom, John, and Jan, partners and grandkids for your loss. I will always remember Ken as an avid golfer, and curler, a keen cook, investor and crossword puzzle enthusiast. Ken was also a lover of music and would sing along happily to songs and listen to talk radio late at night to stay up on issues. Ken was a disciplined man who enjoyed a sense of order. He always kept himself in shape and loved his sports and taking the younger kids to hockey. He didn’t express himself often but I know he loved his grandkids and was really proud of them all. Wishing you eternal peace ‘Papa Ken.’
