Obituary of Cameron Carl BROSE

June 27, 1944 – Tuberose, Saskatchewan
December 11, 2019 – Calgary, Alberta

Cameron Brose, beloved husband of Dayle and father to Julie and Kelly of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at the age of 75 years.

Cam was born in Tuberose, SK  on June 27, 1944.
He was raised in Kyle, SK and after receiving his teaching degree from the U of S moved to Calgary, AB  
 
Cam married Sharon in 1969 and they lived in Calgary for several years and taught high school math at Henry Wise Wood before moving back to Kyle, SK to take over the family farm.  Shortly before retiring from farming, Cam and Sharon moved back to Alberta to be closer to their children. 

He was a man of many talents including building houses, electrical, plumbing, woodworking, concrete and being a handyman for whoever needed him. He was passionate about wildlife management and habitat including raising pheasants and building shelter belts. 

Cam liked hunting and fishing as well as other sports like fastball and football. He was an active curler and golfer and spent countless hours coaching his kids sports teams and high school football in Calgary.  He loved the Toronto Blue Jays and spent his 70th birthday watching his favourite team in Toronto .  He loved to travel, experience other cultures, and was able to see many parts of the world.

He will be most remembered for his generosity to countless people and his love for his family.  

Besides his loving wife Dayle, Cam is survived by his daughter Julie (Nadine) and his son Kelly (Andrea), both of Calgary, AB. Cam is also survived by his sister Ruth (Bill) and brother Marvin (Linda); and a number of nieces and nephews; as well as Dayle’s children and grandchildren. Cam was predeceased by his wife Sharon and his parents,Carl and Olga. 


Graveside Service will be held at Horse Butte Cemetery in Kyle, SK in the Spring of 2020.
