Obituary of Edie MORRISON (nee Rebmann)

November 8, 1942 – Stolp, Germany
December 9, 2019 – Calgary, Alberta

Edie Morrison passed away unexpectedly at Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary, AB on Monday, December 9, 2019 at the age of 77 years.

Edie was born November 8, 1942 in Stolp, Germany.  Her family moved to Edmonton in 1953 and shortly after relocated to Calgary, AB where her father took over the Salamander shoe store.

Edie was employed at Whitecourt Hilltop High School and Mobile Oil Carson Creek before she decided to dedicate herself to being a full time homemaker and mom.  She was also an active member in Kinettes and Oilwives.  Edie enjoyed entertaining, playing bridge, knitting, paper toll, baking, and gardening, reading, and eating at her favorite IHOP!.

Edie is survived by her three children, Robert (Darla), Daniel (Jamie), and Shannon (Sheldon); siblings, Christine (Bill), Delinda (Brian), and Ehren (Beverly).; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by parents, Karl and Sharlotte; stepmother Regine; and sister Gabriele.

Edie will be forever missed by her family and all her many friends that were a part of her life.
